What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something as you move between pages — that you are signed in, for example, or what is in your cart.

Strictly necessary cookies (cannot be turned off)

  • Sign-in cookie — holds your signed-in state and renews your session. Without it you cannot stay signed in.
  • sc_guest_cart — remembers the cart of someone who is not signed in. Once you sign in, the items move into your account automatically.
  • sc_active_store — for shop staff who manage more than one shop, remembers which shop they are currently working on.

Visit statistics

  • sc_vk — a random id used to count how many times an item has been viewed, so the same person isn't counted twice. It stores no IP address and is not linked to your identity. Shops see only the total, never who viewed.

Advertising and marketing

None at present. We have not installed advertising cookies or cross-site tracking tools. If that changes in future we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Stored in your browser but not cookies

The site remembers some display preferences on your own device — such as how many columns you chose for the product grid. That information stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

How to manage cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, signing in and the shopping cart will not work.
