Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something as you move between pages — that you are signed in, for example, or what is in your cart.

• Sign-in cookie — holds your signed-in state and renews your session. Without it you cannot stay signed in.
• sc_guest_cart — remembers the cart of someone who is not signed in. Once you sign in, the items move into your account automatically.
• sc_active_store — for shop staff who manage more than one shop, remembers which shop they are currently working on.
• sc_mseed — a random value that shuffles the product order on the marketplace, category, brand and shop pages so the next page shows no repeats. It is removed when you close your browser.
• sc_staff — set only for our team and shops who sign in to the back office, so their visits are not counted as customers.

• sc_vk — a random id for this device. It counts how many times an item has been viewed (without counting the same person twice), remembers what kinds of products this device has viewed so we can recommend items (see the next section), and counts visits to the Store.Camera website and app: how many people visit, where they came from (for example Google search, ads, Facebook, LINE), which browser or device they use, which pages they open, and which channel led to add-to-cart or orders. It stores no IP address and is not linked to your name or email. This data stays in Store.Camera's own system — it is never sent to Google, Meta or anyone else — and detailed records are deleted automatically after 120 days. Shops see only totals, never who viewed.
• sc_src — remembers the channel you first arrived from (for example an ad link or a search result) for 30 days, so we can record which channel an order came from. It contains no personal data.

We use the history of what kinds of products this device has viewed on Store.Camera — such as brand, product type, lens mount and price range — to recommend similar items to you.

• We only use your browsing on the Store.Camera website and app from the last 90 days (older history is deleted automatically).
• We don't share this with shops, Google, Meta or anyone else, and we don't combine it with data from other sources.
• It never affects prices — everyone sees the same price.
• If you don't want this: delete store.camera's cookies in your browser and the history starts over, or email support@store.camera and ask us to stop and delete your device's history.

Used only after you click "Accept all": Google (Google Ads / Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) remember whether you arrived from one of our ads and which products you viewed or added to your cart, so we can count which ads lead to a purchase and may show you our products again on Facebook / Instagram. We never send your name, email or phone number to Meta. You can change your choice anytime from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.

The site remembers some display preferences on your own device — such as how many columns you chose for the product grid. That information stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

The one exception is sc_ts — a visit-session id that remembers when this visit started and where it came from. It is sent to Store.Camera's statistics system together with each page view (no personal data). A new session starts after 30 minutes of inactivity.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, signing in and the shopping cart will not work.
